Arubinha kitespot is a wellknown place for its flat water and clear wind.

Arubinha is the largest sandbar of the Araruama lake.

It is popular spot as for locals and piople from Rio de Janeiro as for foreing kitesurfers who stay in the Rio area.
Atmosphere is very freindly and positive.
Sometimes you could meet world-known riders, practicing there.

Like Coroinha, one side of the sendbar is deep enough for jumps, other is shallow like a natural pool, offering a quick and safe learning. There is always one flat side and one curly side.

Arubinha offers very good and constant wind, with an average of 4 to 5 windy days per week during the all year, and not to gusty , between 12 to 25 knots.
The temperature of the water is always very good, even during the winter you do not need water suit.

Students safe learning area
The green zone is free of any water trafic and has perfect depth to learn kiting with safety.
Cross-onshore wind makes sure you will not be blown away :-)

If you can go up-wind and return to start point without problems you may practice all around the sandbar, not only on shallow side - we will keep an eye on you.
